There are more than 100 museums to visit. Here is a list of the most popular ones.

• 

  Bellas Artes National Museum, located on Del Libertador Av. 1473, open from Tuesday to Friday 12.30 to 19.30 and on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays from 9.30 to 19.30.

• Museum of Latin-American Art (MALBA), which exhibits a grand scope of Latin-American art. The address is Figueroa Alcorta Av. 3415. Open to the public on Wednesdays from 12.00 to 21.00, and Thursday to Monday and Public Holidays from 12.00 to 20.00, Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00 to 19.00, there are
  guided tours everyday at 17.00.

• Eduardo Sivori Museum of Plastic Arts, which exhibits works of art, tapestries, graphic arts, and sculpture by Argentine artists. The address is Infanta Isabel Av. 555. Its doors are open from Tuesday to Friday from 12.00 to 19.00 and on Saturdays, Sundays and Public holidays from 10.00 to 18.00. The entrance is free of charge on Wednesday.

• Brigadier Cornelio Saavedra History Museum, exhibits objects from the XIX century that belonged to the makers of Argentine History. The address is Crisólogo Larralde 6309, for information: Tuesday to Friday 9.00 to 18.00 and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10.00 to 20.00.

• Luis Perlotti Museum. We can find the collection that belonged to the author, who gave its name to the museum. He dedicated his life to American sculpture with an Indigenous tradition profile. This Museum can be visited on Pujol 664 from 9.00 to 13.00, or 14.00 to 16.00 from Tuesday to Friday and on Saturdays and Sundays 10.00 to 18.00.

• The City Museum invites you to see the work of citizen culture, it also has a library specialized in these themes. It is open from Monday to Friday from 11.00 to 19.00, Sundays from 15.00 to 19.00. The ticket is free on Wednesdays and it is closed on Saturdays. The Address is Defensa 210.

• José Hernádez Museum. It shows a vast production of art in leather, wood, glass and china, which reflexes the Creole’s traditions. It is open from Wednesday to Sunday 13.00 to 19.00. The entrance is free on Sunday. The address is Libertador Av. 2373.

• Museum of Modern Art. It exhibits modern art made by local and
  international artists; it has a library specialized in contemporary art. Located on San Juan 350. It can be visited Tuesday to Saturday 10.00 to 20.00, Sundays 11.00 to 20.00. The ticket is free on Wednesdays.

• Enrique Larreta Museum exhibits Spanish art. The collection you can enjoy there was donated by Enrique Larreta and it shows pieces from the XIII to the XX centuries. The address is Juramento 2291, Belgrano Quarter. You can visit the Museum from Wednesday to Monday 14.00 to 19.00, being free of charge on Thuesdays.

• Pablo C. Ducrós Hicken Cinema Museum. This museum was established by lovers of cinema. You can enjoy the first movie camera, costumes, posters, photographs, and mute films, there. The museum itself has a library which offers more information of
  the exposed material. You can visit it from Monday to Friday 10.00 to 18.00, or Sundays from 15.00 to 18.00. The ticket is free On Wednesday and it is closed on Saturdays.

• Museum of Bellas Artes Benito Quinquela Martin is located in the Boca Quarter near the Riachuelo River. It has paintings and a collection of its founder’s work as well as of other Argentine artists. There is also a school of art in this museum. The address is Pedro de Mendoza 1835. It is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10.00 to 18.00. On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday there are guided tours at 10.00, 11.00 and 14.00.

• Isaac Fernández Blanco Museum is dedicated to silverware of Peruvian origins and of the Rio de la Plata culture. It also shows paintings and chinaware. There is a library where you can find books about Hispanic, and American art. This museum is located in Retiro Quarter. The address is, Suipacha 1422. It opens from Tuesday to Sunday, from 14.00 to 19.00. On holidays 15.00 to 19.00. The entrance is free of charge on Tuesdays and it is closed on Mondays.

• Park’s Museum. It’s a museum that shows landscapes of Buenos Aires and its art collections, as its name indicates. It is opened from Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00. It is located on Andrés Bello St. between Intendente Bunge and Florencio Sánchez, by the lakeside “Las Regata” in Palermo woods.

You can also find a lot of open fairs, where you can buy all sorts of things like “San Thelmo’s” fair, located in San Thelmo Quarter. It is specialized in antiques. It is only open on Sundays.
Others like “Mataderos” and “Plaza Francia” fairs are the most visited ones.

Another interesting outing is “Tierra Santa”, which can be found in Costanera. It is the first religious park in the world.
This park takes us back to Jesus Christ times, in Jerusalem. It shows architecture, people and customs at that time.

The Zoo is another interesting place to visit and it is near the city centre, in Palermo Quarter. This area is famous for its parks and French style botanical gardens. The Japanese Park, designed in typical Japanese architecture is located here too, and “El Rosedal” Garden, is a magnificent garden, in Spanish design, where you can appreciate several kinds of roses.
